3) If you would like to see the grades for your student (in all classes), please check Renweb.com. It is a great resource and allows students and parents to see grades on homework, quizzes, exams, etc. In addition, you can receive notifications when your student does not turn in homework.
4) Interested in a FREE college education for 2 years? If so, check out the Tulsa Achieves program at Tulsa Community College. Every high school graduate living in Tulsa County with a 2.0 or higher grade point average is eligible (including public, private, or home-schooled students).
5) To help families pay for college, the state of Oklahoma has set up a unique program called the Oklahoma Promise. To be eligible for this program, parents must earn less than $50,000 at the time of the application. The program requires students to take certain high school courses, pass those courses, keep their grades up, and stay out of trouble (away from gangs, drugs, and alcohol). In short, the student promises to prepare academically for college and stay out of trouble, and in return, the state of Oklahoma promises to help pay for college tuition.
